Thousands of lives affected.

One mission: Recovery.

Together, we can fight substance use disorder.

A board of 8 Orange County community members started  Safe Haven Recovery Engagement Center (REC). The REC is a resource to anyone who is struggling with addiction. Whether you are a family member, friend or you yourself are affected by addiction, we are here to help.

Those struggling with addiction must change everything about themselves and it’s extremely difficult when they don’t know how. Recovery is possible. But without the appropriate resources, it makes it almost impossible. That’s where Safe Haven comes into place.

In memory of Dakota Stout

Paying tribute to the one who started it all, Dakota Stout was the inspiration for Safe Haven. He fought his disease for 8 years and he succumbed February 1st, 2018. This video is in honor of him.

How You Can Help

Change is difficult for anybody, but is made easier with community support. Safe Haven is meant to be a low barrier, community-ran center. It succeeds as much as the community supports it. So here is where we need your help! We need funds to assist us in opening an actual facility. These funds may be used towards purchasing a building, fundraising/awareness events, operational costs, legal fees and the like.

Pay with PayPal or a debit/credit card

This is great news. Gave me chills! So inspiring to witness our community embracing pro-active

actions and accepting that addiction has no boundaries.

This is awesome we need this. Made me cry happy tears

This is awesome. Navigating the system to get some help...it's tough.

So incredible! I always thought Orange County needed something like this.
